Resubmittals, Revisions and Deferred Submittals

Definitions

Resubmittals of plans (Resubmittals) are responses to plan check comments related to projects that are still under plan review.

A revision to an issued permit (Revision) is an update to the plans after a Building permit has been issued. Revisions can be major changes such as increase in project scope (new square footage or structural alterations) or minor changes to the plans or detail based on site specific conditions.

Deferred submittals are a portion of a construction design not included in the initial Building permit application and submitted after permit issuance for review and approval.
