Last week, the Menlo Park Police Department joined communities across the country in celebrating the Annual National Night Out (NNO). NNO is a beloved tradition that strengthens the bond between law enforcement and the neighborhoods we serve. The event builds safer, more connected communities through positive police-community partnerships. This year, Menlo Park came alive with nine vibrant block parties spread throughout our neighborhoods. From cozy driveway gatherings to park picnics to lively street-wide celebrations, each event was a testament to the spirit of unity and collaboration.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing block party captains for taking the lead in organizing these events. Your commitment and hospitality made the evening truly memorable!
We’re already looking forward to next year and we’d love to see even more residents join in by hosting their own block parties. It’s a fun and meaningful way to bring neighbors together and connect with your local police officers and staff.
