Asphalt work on Pierce Road and Newbridge Street

Public Works will be performing asphalt work on Pierce Road and Newbridge Street in the coming weeks in preparation for the upcoming Bay and Pierce Roads Improvement Project this
summer.

Pierce Road Work (Full Closure)

From April 28-29, asphalt resurfacing will take place on Pierce Road between Henderson and Windermere Avenue.

  • The road will be closed to public traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
  • Traffic will be detoured to Newbridge Street.
  • Traffic control measures will be in place to ensure public safety.
Newbridge Street Work (Partial Closures)
From April 30-May 1, asphalt repairs will occur on Newbridge Street between Windermere Avenue and Willow Road.
  • Please expect partial lane closures and traffic delays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Traffic control will be in place to guide vehicles safely through the work area.

Additional Information

  • Roadways will reopen to traffic at the end of each workday.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained at all times.
  • Residents are encouraged to park outside of the work zones during construction hours.
