July is Park and Recreation Month! Bike, walk, or run to celebrate with us at PlayLOCAL! an hour of guided outdoor play and games at your local park. PlayLOCAL! events will take place each Tuesday in July for an hour from 11 a.m. - noon at your local park. Pack your own lunch, snacks, and a blanket to stay and chat with your friends and neighbors afterward. A bubbly surprise will pop up at a special PlayLOCAL! finale at Willow Oaks Park on Saturday, Aug. 8.

Picnic party packs

Free, zero-waste party packs (complete with shatterproof plates, tumblers, utensils, and cloth napkins for up to 40 people) are available to Menlo Park residents who are planning to picnic.
