Free bike tune-up at the Belle Haven Community Resource Fair March 28

The City of Menlo Park will host a Community Resource Fair at the Belle Haven Community Campus (100 Terminal Ave.) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday March 28. Bay Area BikeMobile will join the Safe Routes to School program booth to offer free bike tune-ups and repairs.

With spring around the corner, it’s time to prepare to ride your bike around Menlo Park. The Safe Routes to School Program has invited BikeMobile to provide free tune-ups and repairs for parents and children at the event. If your bike or your child’s bike is making one of those mystery sounds or collecting dust because it has a flat tire, bring it to the Belle Haven Resource Fair March 28, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The BikeMobile can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears and even replace broken or worn-out parts like chains, seats and tires. While the mechanics work on your bike, they will explain how to keep it running smoothly. Bike or no bike, everyone is welcome to attend to learn about maintenance, safety and more!
