Traffic impacts for sewer main replacement on Ravenswood Ave/Laurel St

Construction begins Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, for the Laurel/Ravenswood sewer main replacement. The construction work should take two weeks. Weekday work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As part of the North Bay Road and Ringwood Avenue project, West Bay Sanitary District crews will replace and upgrade existing sewer main sections and install a section of recycled water main for future use.

Moderate traffic impacts are expected with the following lane changes:

• Ravenswood Avenue from Laurel Street to Noel Drive
• Laurel Street from Ravenswood Avenue to Cherry Street

Traffic signals will be on all-way red flash. Remember to treat red-flashing signals like a stop sign. There will be flaggers on duty to assist traffic.
