Two free bulky item collection services offered

Did you know it is illegal to dump garbage and unwanted items along the streets? Recology offers two free scheduled pickup service of large and bulky items for residents and multifamily properties.

Residents may set out:

• Two cubic yards of bagged/boxed solid waste
• One large appliance (such as a washing machine, dryer, refrigerator or freezer)
• One bulky item (such as a mattress, couch or tires)
• Electronic waste (such as a TV, computer or computer monitor)

Please do not put out liquids, dirt, rock, concrete, asphalt, hazardous waste or items that exceed 5 feet in length.

Residents may use the ACT Menlo Park app to report and track their service requests, such as illegal dumping.
