FIFA World Cup 2025 No Drone Zone

The Bay Area will host six FIFA World Cup 2026 matches at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The FAA plans to implement Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) and “No Drone Zone” enforcement around matches and related events. Residents, visitors and drone operators should expect increased traffic, public safety activity and regional impacts during tournament operations.

The FAA advises drone operators to check active TFRs and airspace restrictions before flying during tournament events. Local drone regulations also remain in effect. Under Menlo Park Municipal Code 8.28.140(5), drones and unmanned aircraft systems are prohibited in city parks and facilities except in designated areas or for public safety emergency operations.
