The Police Department invites Menlo Park residents to participate in the annual National Night Out celebrations hosted City-wide on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 4–8 p.m. Over 34 million people in more than 16,000 communities throughout the country will join forces with law enforcement to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, drug and violence prevention, safety and neighborhood unity.
Residents are encouraged to participate by coming outside, getting to know your neighbors and the law enforcement officers that work in our community. Many neighborhoods will be hosting a variety of celebrations such as block parties, cookouts, potlucks, dessert socials and youth activities.
