In keeping with advancing Downtown Vibrancy, the City has hired additional Public Works staff for downtown support. Jose Lopez will start as of early November and will help with overall downtown monitoring and maintenance, in addition to support in other areas of the city.

Some of his duties will include daily inspections of downtown areas, including streets and sidewalks, trash bins, parking plazas, seating areas, and the plaza. Minor repairs will be conducted for lighting fixtures and trash bins. Landscaping will also be maintained, with watering on a regular schedule.

Furniture in the plaza and throughout downtown will also be monitored for maintenance issues. The plaza space will receive focused attention to address leaf litter and clean-up as needed.

To submit a repair or maintenance request, use ACT Menlo Park to report repair issues to the City and to track your submission.
