Ready to make the switch to cleaner transportation? The City of Menlo Park has launched a new electric vehicle rebate and e-bike voucher program to help qualifying residents go electric and save money doing it.

Eligible residents can receive:

  • $2,000 rebate after the purchase of a new or used electric vehicle
  • $1,000 voucher toward the purchase of an eligible Class 1 or Class 2 e-bike

The program is open to Menlo Park residents age 18 and older who meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Participate in a qualifying assistance program (CALWorks, SNAP, PG&E CARE or the Menlo Park utility discount program).
  • Live in a neighborhood with a CalEnviroScreen 4.0 score above 60, including Belle Haven and parts of Bayfront Are age 65 or older.
  • Submit the application.

Funding is limited and incentives are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to get your application in soon! The program is administered by the City's nonprofit partner, Acterra, and funded by the State of California.
