Menlo Park celebrates the art of puppetry

Published on September 09, 2026

In 2027, Menlo Park will present its 10^th Annual Summer Puppetry Festival!

During our annual festival and periodically throughout the year, we join the community in celebrating puppetry in its many forms, appreciating this art for its power to entertain young and old alike while showcasing creativity and storytelling.

We host performances, workshops, lectures, and film screenings sharing a sampling of classical and avant garde styles, with all the inherent education, nostalgia, surprise and joy.

Stay tuned—it’s never too long before another puppet pops up!

The Summer Puppetry Festival receives funding support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
