2026 Community Police Academy application open

Applications are currently being accepted for the Menlo Park Community Police Academy. The Community Police Academy gives our community members a hands-on introduction to police work. Participants will get firsthand information on how the police department operates and an inside look at the culture of police work in Menlo Park. It provides an excellent opportunity to ask questions openly and to discuss topics of interest with the police. If you want to learn more about what police officers and staff do every day and are interested in criminal law, forensics and investigations, then this is a great program for you to join.

The Academy is a six-week program open to ages 18 years and older and takes place Wednesdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 14, 2026 to Feb. 18, 2026.
