The City Council will meet Tuesday, June 3, in a special City Council meeting to review and discuss seven responses to the City's Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for development on downtown Parking Plazas 1, 2 and 3 and the next steps. Seven development teams submitted qualifications and initial concepts for developments in response to the City’s request for a minimum of 345 housing units and replacement public parking. The responding teams were Alliant Communities, Eden Housing, MidPen Housing, The Pacific Companies and West Development Partners, Path Ventures, Presidio Bay Ventures and Related California and Alta Housing. The submittals are available for review on the project webpage. Your feedback on the RFQ submittals is welcome. Please submit this community feedback form no later than Wednesday, May 28, at 5 p.m. for your comments to be included in the June 3 City Council staff report. The June 3 meeting will consider the next steps in creating downtown housing and other potential uses while maintaining public parking access, one of two in downtown Menlo Park.
