City Hall solar carport work starts Friday, Jan. 23

Work on the solar PV carport systems at City Hall is expected to begin Friday, Jan. 23. The contractor, McMillan Electric, will put up construction fencing to close most of the lot between City Hall and the Gymnastics Center. Alternative parking will be available in the other parking lots at the Burgess Campus. Please visit menlopark.gov/citysolar for updates.

Anticipated lot closure:
Start: Week of Jan. 26
End: Week of Feb. 23

Alternative parking locations include City Council Chamber’s lot (751 Laurel St.), Burgess Tennis Courts lot (corner of Laurel St. and Burgess Dr.) and the Burgess Baseball Field lot (on Alma St.). The very limited remaining parking in the lot near City Hall will be reserved for members of the public.
