City Hall solar carport work starts Friday, Jan. 23

Work on the solar PV carport systems at City Hall is scheduled to begin soon. The contractor, McMillan Electric, will be putting up construction fencing to close most of the lot between City Hall and the Gymnastics Center on Friday, Jan. 23. Alternative parking will be available in the other parking lots at the Burgess Campus. Please visit menlopark.gov/citysolar for updates and a parking map.

Anticipated lot closure:
Start: Week of Jan. 26
End: Week of Feb. 23
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.

Alternative parking will be available in the other parking lots on the Burgess Campus at the City Council Chamber’s lot, Burgess Tennis Courts lot on Laurel Street and the Burgess Baseball Field lot on Alma Street. A very limited remaining parking lot near City Hall will be reserved for members of the public.
