The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a high wind watch for Menlo Park from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday with wind gusts up to 45 mph. Wind gusts of up to 30 mph will continue Wednesday through Thursday. NWS also issued a flood watch from 10 a.m. Tuesday until 10 p.m. Friday. Moderate to heavy rainfall Tuesday night through Friday morning is expected.
Impacts could include hazardous travel conditions such as ponding on roadways, downed tree limbs and power outages. If traveling for the upcoming holiday, plan to leave extra time and do not attempt to drive through flood waters. Please find an alternate route.
