Home upgrade services now available citywide, see if you qualify

The City of Menlo Park is now offering no-cost home electrification upgrades citywide. Nov. 18, the City Council expanded the Home Upgrade Services program making it available to all income-eligible single-family homes in Menlo Park. For example, a family of four with an annual income at or below $223,900 (120% of the San Mateo County area median income) is now eligible.

This limited-time program provides the installation of new electric appliances, heating and cooling systems, solar panels and battery storage systems, electric panel upgrades and more to improve indoor air quality, comfort and home efficiency at no cost.
