This project will replace approximately 4,300 linear feet of aging asphalt concrete water main with 12-inch and 16-inch-high density polyethylene (HDPE) mains. The limit of work spans Sand Hill Road (from 2950 Sand Hill Road to Monte Rosa Drive) and Monte Rosa Drive (between Sand Hill Road and Siskiyou Drive.) Signing, striping, and pavement rehabilitation (including asphalt resurfacing and slurry seal beyond the utility trench) are also proposed as illustrated below.
On April 28, the City Council awarded the Project's construction contract to Cratus, Inc. Construction is expected to begin in July 2026. City staff will periodically update this website to inform stakeholders of changes in scope, schedule, or other project milestones.
