Sand Hill Road Water Main Replacement Project

This project will replace approximately 4,300 linear feet of aging asphalt concrete water main with 12-inch and 16-inch-high density polyethylene (HDPE) mains. The limit of work spans Sand Hill Road (from 2950 Sand Hill Road to Monte Rosa Drive) and Monte Rosa Drive (between Sand Hill Road and Siskiyou Drive.) Signing, striping, and pavement rehabilitation (including asphalt resurfacing and slurry seal beyond the utility trench) are also proposed as illustrated below. 

Current status

Staff will advertise construction bids for the project in February. Construction is anticipated from summer to winter (contingent upon bids received). Please refer to the City's construction news update page for additional information.
