California Building Standards Code

Building codes are regularly updated. The following codes, as approved by the California Building Standards Commission, have been adopted by the City of Menlo Park. 

2025 California Building Codes effective January 1, 2026

Applications received on or after January 1, 2026, must meet the following set of building codes:
