The 2025 Rain Barrel Bulk Sale is here until Oct. 26
Published on October 13, 2025
Did you know that stormwater runoff often picks up pollutants such as animal waste, pesticides and fertilizers as it flows into the City’s creeks? With the rainy season approaching, now is a better time than ever to invest in a rain barrel. By installing a rain barrel, you can help protect the water quality of our local creeks, reuse water for your garden and reduce your water bill.
Flows to Bay has brought back the Rain Barrel Bulk Sale Program for the fifth consecutive year. The program offers San Mateo County residents the opportunity to purchase up to two high-quality 50-gallon rain barrels at a discounted price of $85 each (regularly $160). Additionally, Menlo Park Municipal Water (MPMW) customers can receive a rebate of up to $200 for the purchase and installation of a rain barrel or cistern.
With Flows to Bay’s price reduction along with the City’s rain barrel rebate program, MPMW customers can get their rain barrels completely free. If you are not an MPMW customer, please check with your water provider to see if they offer a rain barrel rebate.
